Vermont Representative

Representative Kate Webb was elected in 2008 to the Vermont House of Representatives and currently serves as the House Assistant Majority Leader. Webb worked with the House and Senate assistant majority and minority leaders to bring Next Generation to Vermont in 2015.  She is a retired special educator/speech language pathologist, serving on the University of Vermont College of Nursing and Health Sciences Board of Advisors and on the New England Board of Higher Education. She spends much of her time in the statehouse working on environmental issues with a particular interest in water quality and serves on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Future of Lake Champlain.  Representative Webb is the past treasurer of the Vermont Association for Psychological Type and gives introductory workshops to schools and non-profits using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®. She is married with two daughters, two stepdaughters, four sons-in-law and an expanding number of grandchildren.
