Representative Mike Mrowicki of Putney, Vermont is currently serving his fifth term in the Vermont House of Representatives. His work on the House Human Services Committee is informed from decades of work in youth and community services. Giving back and paying forward, has been a family legacy starting with Mrowicki’s grandparents. All four arrived from Poland after WWI and came to love this country for the opportunity it gave them as immigrants. Outside of the legislature, Representative Mrowicki’s recent activities include the Marlboro College Graduate School's Nonprofit Management Program, the Vermont Positive Fatherhood Initiative, Putney Food Shelf, Windham Hunger Council, Sojourns Community Health Center board, and being a member of the Putney Quaker Meeting-Peace and Social Justice Committee. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Mike enjoys biking, quiet water kayaking, cross-country skiing, and writing and playing music. He has two adult daughters, Grace and Maria.
