Senator Mark Miller was first elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 2004 having previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. He is the former Senate Democratic leader and also chaired the Senate Committee that passed the Great Lakes Compact in Wisconsin. Miller served as a fighter pilot in the Wisconsin Air National Guard until retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and then operated a successful real estate management business for many years. Senator Miller promotes respectful operations of legislative bodies at the local and state level. The environment is one of his top concerns.
